The Hollywood Business Model

For years now the "virtual business" concept has been used in Hollywood. In the past, everyone that worked on the film was owned by the studios including the stars and directors. In todays Hollywood, there are several different teams/other companies that collaborate to produce a feature film. The film producer may bring in specific individuals or teams for specific expertise in the production. The distribution and release of the film may be handled by a different company as well. When the production is complete, the individuals and teams are free to work on other projects.

As it has been proven in the Hollywood Model, the virtual business concept is a very effective business model.
